Well, I think it’s time for some pictures of these beauties. These have rarely left my feet since the day I got them, and there’s a reason for that. I don’t think there is much else to say, besides the fact they’re still going strong and only look better the more worn in they get. I think it’s the way I walk, but I’ve been absolutely destroying this Vibram soles – other than that, they look brand new minus a few scuffs & scratches. I plan to take them to the cobbler next week and have the scuffs dyed with navy dye, but I wanted to take some shots of them beforehand.

those are some nice socks too! where are they from?
thanks so much! they are two feet ahead camp socks! they’re so wonderful and comfortable. you can purchase them for like $7 a pair by contacting woodlands shop by e-mail or phone: http://www.woodlandsshop.com/
Great pair of shoes! I’ve been lusting for the brown trail oxford for a while now! After reading through all the posts on your blog I discovered you live in Tampa. I’m based in St. Pete. Glad so see someone with a similar style sensibility in the area. Cheers!
I actually work down town! If you’d ever like to meet up, let me know! I’d totally be down.
These look great! I needed one more review/post about these Oakstreet Oxfords, and I have found the right one. Still deciding on the navy and brown ones though.
And actually, I lived in Tampa (Carrollwood area) and in St. Pete as well. Cheers.
I’m picking up brown as well. It’s such a nice everyday shoe! I appreciate the kind words, they really are worth every penny! Where abouts do you live now?
Yea the Trail Oxford is what I’m probably going to end up getting. I like the Vibram sole especially, it definitely will make it easier to work in. I currently reside in Nashville, TN.
The Vibram sole is wonderful for all terrains. Good luck with the shoes, and if you’re ever in Florida again – let me know!
Hey! I’m in Tampa right now for a day off. I should of hit you up sooner but work has been crazy for me.
Damn, I Missed this comment! When will you be back? I’m always around, so let me know in advanced next time! :)
Will do! I’ll be back in January for work. Shoot me an email!
3 months? Have you actually done anything in them or did you take a 3 month long taxi ride to a grass patch to take pretentious pictures of those uggers
three month taxi ride, thanks!

They seemed to have retained their deep blue color. How have you managed that? I had a pair (not Oak Street) of blue leather deck shoes that faded and are no longer blue thanks to dust and washing, probably from walking on trails and along the lake…
Robert,
Probably has to do with the type of leather these are crafted with, its Horween Chromexcel – pretty much the best of the best. Still to this day, they look amazing. I’ve buffed the scuffs out of them with a navy polish and they look pretty much brand new again.

I have to confess: I still haven’t tried nor seen any of these moccasins though they are available at Frenchtrotters in Paris. Still, they definitely look like the ultimate pair of US handcrafted “winter moccasin” to have. Great outfit without socks for sure. But not sure it fits with the spirit of the brand though…
